VANILLA PARK

Vanilla Park, officially known as La
Vanille Nature Park, is a popular

wildlife and nature reserve located
in the south of Mauritius, near

Rivière des Anguilles. Surrounded
by lush tropical vegetation, the
park is home to a wide variety of
animals, including over a
thousand Aldabra giant tortoises,
Nile crocodiles, monkeys, lemurs,
and colorful birds. Visitors can
explore the insectarium, which
holds one of the largest private
insect collections in the world,
and learn about the island’s
extinct species like the dodo. It’s
